Slovenia’s state-owned hydropower operator Soške Elektrarne Nova Gorica (SENG) and road management firm Družba za Avtoceste v Republiki Sloveniji (DARS) are teaming up to build solar power plants along the country’s highways. This pioneering initiative, the first in Southeastern Europe, aims to harness solar energy responsibly while adhering to environmental regulations.

With the support of the government and a diverse portfolio of renewable energy investments, Slovenia is driving towards a cleaner and sustainable future.
