With the SKILLBILL project entering its final semester, partners gathered in Thessaloniki, Greece, for the 6th Project Meeting, hosted by Q-PLAN International. As the project moves closer to its conclusion, this meeting provided an opportunity for all consortium members to reflect on the progress made so far, align on final activities and ensure the successful completion of key objectives.

The discussions throughout the meeting focused on evaluating the achievements of the project, assessing the status of key performance indicators and refining strategies to maximise impact in its remaining months. SKILLBILL has made significant steps in advancing skilling, reskilling and upskilling initiatives within the renewable energy sector. This meeting reinforced the commitment of all partners to finalizing the deliverables and ensuring that all goals are met within the project’s timeline.

A key aspect of the discussions centered on the educational and training programs developed within SKILLBILL, emphasising their role in supporting the green transition. Partners exchanged insights on how to further enhance accessibility, improve engagement, and increase the impact of these initiatives. With most key performance indicators showing strong progress, the meeting reaffirmed the consortium’s commitment to successfully completing the project while supporting professionals looking to enter or transition into the renewable energy sector.

Beyond the formal proceedings, the meeting also provided an opportunity to strengthen collaboration and foster a sense of shared achievement among partners. To conclude the gathering, Q-PLAN organised a guided tour of Thessaloniki, allowing participants to explore the city’s historical and cultural landmarks. In just a few hours, partners had the chance to experience the rich heritage of one of Greece’s most vibrant cities, learning about its diverse influences and deep-rooted history while enjoying a moment of informal networking.

As SKILLBILL moves into its final phase, the consortium remains committed to maximising the project’s impact and ensuring that its outcomes continue to support workforce development in renewable energy beyond its official duration. The upcoming months will be crucial in finalising deliverables and consolidating results, paving the way for a well-equipped and skilled workforce to meet the challenges of the green transition.
