SKILLBILL recently had the honor of participating in the satellite event of the Bioeconomy Changemaker Festival – YOUTH and BioRegions.SK, held in Nitra, Slovakia. Organized by our esteemed partner PEDAL Consulting, the event aimed at informing, inspiring and supporting young people’s initiatives in sustainability and innovation. The festival, held on March 13th, 2024, brought together a diverse range of activities designed to engage and empower young innovators in the field of bioeconomy. From captivating presentations in the BioArt Gallery showcasing biomass and its applications to hands-on workshops in the Bioeconomy Village exploring bio-based products, the event was all about learning and discovering.
One of the highlights of the festival was the Youth Work Exhibition, where SKILLBILL had the opportunity to showcase its activities towards shaping the future of bioeconomy. It was inspiring to witness fellow young innovators and entrepreneurs working together for a positive change in the sustainability landscape. Throughout the day, participants engaged in interactive discussions and creative workshops, delving into insightful conversations about the future of the bioeconomy. Additionally, TEDx talks featuring young researchers and entrepreneurs provided valuable insights and perspectives, while Q&A sessions with policymakers highlighted the opportunities for green transformation in the sector.
