On November 7-8, 2024, our partners from PEDAL represented SKILLBILL at the 10th Annual Slovak Biogas Association Conference in Zvolen, Slovakia. Organised by the Slovak Biogas Association, this annual conference is a cornerstone event for the biogas and renewable energy sector, bringing together policymakers, biogas operators and technology providers to foster collaboration and innovation.
With over 150
attendees from Slovakia, the Czech Republic, and beyond, the conference explored critical topics such as digestate processing, the transition to biomethane, and renewable electricity generation. Expert presentations, including legislative insights from Slovak ministries, provided a comprehensive view of the current challenges and opportunities in the biogas sector.
Representing SKILLBILL, PEDAL team members set up an information stand, promoting the project’s ongoing initiatives, including the upcoming MML workshop and VET courses. These efforts reinforced SKILLBILL’s mission to support the renewable energy transition through education, innovation, and stakeholder engagement.
This marks the second consecutive year of SKILLBILL’s participation in this influential conference, highlighting the project’s continuous commitment to engaging with key stakeholders in the biogas and RES sectors.
