SKILLBILL’s 3rd Project Meeting, which took place in the beautiful city of Seville on September 12-13, 2023, concluded with resounding success. It was a gathering of dedicated partners, all committed to driving progress in renewable energy education and innovation. During this event, we had the opportunity to reflect on the achievements of the past six months and chart an inspiring path forward for the upcoming months.

Here are some of the noteworthy highlights from our productive project meeting:

Specialization School for Renewable Energy Skills: One of our most significant accomplishments is planned and reacy to go. We are committed to equipping the next generation with the knowledge and skills needed for a sustainable future.

Promotion of Ecosystem Linkages: Collaboration and innovation are at the heart of our mission. We have been actively fostering ecosystem linkages through stakeholder groups, bringing together key players in the renewable energy sector to drive progress and synergy.

Vocational Education and Training (VET) Solutions: Our ongoing efforts to develop vocational education and training solutions are shaping up brilliantly. These programs will play a crucial role in preparing our workforce to meet the demands of the evolving renewable energy landscape.

The Green Portal: A significant milestone in our journey is the creation of the Green Portal, an educational hub dedicated to Renewable Energy Sources (RES). This platform will serve as a valuable resource for students, professionals, and enthusiasts seeking knowledge in this critical field.

Virtual Reality Advancements: We are thrilled to announce exciting updates in the realm of Virtual Reality (VR). Our specialization school and VET program will now incorporate cutting-edge VR technology, providing immersive learning experiences that simulate real-world scenarios.

Ongoing Policy Initiatives: We are actively engaged in shaping policy initiatives related to skills and education at the European Union level. Our commitment to influencing policy underscores our dedication to fostering a supportive environment for renewable energy education.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to David Sánchez Martínez and his colleagues from Universidad de Sevilla for their exceptional organization and hospitality during the event. Their contribution was invaluable in making this meeting a success.
