SKILLBILL’s next term of the Specialization Program starts on Monday, September 7th, 2024. This program, designed to equip students with cutting-edge knowledge in renewable energy and sustainable technologies, features a comprehensive curriculum addressing key topics in RES sector.

As part of the SKILLBILL initiative, the Specialization Program aims to develop professionals who are capable of leading the transition to renewable energy sources. By focusing on both the technical and socio-economic aspects of sustainability, the program prepares students for the challenges and opportunities within the renewable energy landscape.

The upcoming courses will focus on the following:

Waste to Fuels: Providing an overview of the waste-to-fuels concept, exploring available waste streams and processes, including second and third-generation biofuels from waste feedstocks.

Waste Energy Nexus: Understanding the critical link between energy production/efficiency and water usage, and develop the tools to analyze this connection effectively.

Introduction to the Power Grid and Electricity Market: Familiarize students with the global power grid’s characteristics, diverse power generation technologies, the dynamics of electricity markets, and the incentives driving the adoption of renewable energy.

Road Transport: Explore the key features of road transport vehicles, focusing on sustainable power trains and explore the infrastructural changes needed for more sustainable transport solutions.

Energy Storage: Analyze energy storage technologies, and learn effective energy management strategies for optimizing energy use across various sectors.
